Training Leads

All our dog training leads are handmade and are crafted specifically for your dog at the time of ordering. Customisation options include a padded handle, a choice between a trigger hook or carabiner, the ability to double up for full or half length, and lengths ranging from 5 to 50 metres.

Dog training leads are primarily used for teaching recall and providing safe exercise. They are also known as long lines, long dog training leads, long leashes, lunge lines, or tracking leads.

When choosing the right long line, consider your needs, such as regular walks, recall training, or beach use, as well as the area where you’ll be walking your dog and your dog’s strength. For best practices, always clip the lead to a well-fitted harness, avoid using it aggressively, and choose an appropriate length. Our trigger hooks require regular oiling, while carabiners offer the safest option with low failure rates.
